The way the English has been changing over time has attracted the attention of many people, in this article the author is trying to explain where does the English came from and how the English’s words are being replaced by others that words that are more usual to speak.
The English has come from the Britain and it has been developed by the time, changing how we use the words and also their meanings.
One of the facts of why the English seems to be more complex to a non-native speaker to learn is because the Modern English has been changing every period of time, more words are added and other words are erased from the language. But no matter how the English would change, it will be difficult to learn, because depends on where you live, the words have different meanings. In the West, North, South and East, have different ways of speaking the language, including the pronunciation, and the meanings of the words. And now we can say that being a non-native speaker is more complicated than to a native speaker. Even though the most of the English word will stay, in the future we won’t use the same words that we used today.
I disagree with the article, because the English it is not the most complicated language, there are more languages that we can hardly learn, not only in spelling but also in grammar. The Spanish also has many words that are changing over time, and I think it is also the same problem with the English, because the way of speaking the Spanish also depends on where do you live or where do you are from. Indeed in the Spanish vocabulary are not include some words that we use nowadays, but we can infer that some day these words would be use in the future. I think the article has certain points in which you can approve that the English is difficult, but not the most difficult. At my opinion, the English language is as difficult to learn, write, and speak, as any other language in the world, not only the Spanish, but also many others.
